Accounts System Individual Sheets

Income/Expenses Sheet

There is one sheet per month for adding income and expenses. You simply add the date, select the reason from a drop down list, (categories can be customised to your own requirements, (ie sales, materials, fuel, telephone) and also where the payment will be paid to or from, ie, current or reserve account, petty cash or credit card.

Each sheet shows as a running total of income and expenses for each month.... back to Accounts

Annual P&L Sheet

The P&L Summary sheet will be automatically updated following any entries that are made in the monthly sheets. You will be able to clearly see running totals per month and also for the whole year for each category, as well as total income and total expenses per month and for the whole year.

All cells are password protected to prevent accidental deletion of formula. Minus figures are shown in red.... back to Accounts

Self Assessment Sheet

The draft Self Assessment Form will be automatically completed by adding all the relevant amounts into each category, ie:-

Allowable Expenses

Allowable expenses are the running costs relating to your business, eg office costs, business vehicle costs, stock purchased, costs of your business premises - costs that you pay out in the course of earning business profits.... back to Accounts

Non Allowable Expenses

You cannot claim for non-business or personal items, such as entertaining, but would enter the costs on the spreadsheets under the Misc (non-taxable) category, however, the costs will not be added to the draft assessment.... back to Accounts

VAT Calculator Sheet

The VAT Accounting version, which is included in the purchase, has an annual and quarterly VAT calculator.

It is updated after each entry you make where there is a VAT element to the cost.

The calculator is broken down by VAT due on sales, VAT due on EC acquisitions,VAT reclaimed on purchases and other inputs, and then has total value excluding VAT. There is then a clear figure for the total net amount to be paid to HMRC. You can use the figures calculated to complete your VAT returns.... back to Accounts
